01 — How we work

How a UI/UX design project runs

Six stages, each ending with something you can review and sign off. Nothing moves to visual design until the structure has been tested, which is where most rework is avoided.

Research and discovery

We talk to the people who use the product and the people who pay for it. Stakeholder workshops, user interviews, surveys and a look at competitors, so the brief rests on evidence rather than the loudest opinion in the room.

Wireframes

Grey boxes, no colour. Wireframes settle layout, navigation and what belongs on each screen, so stakeholders debate structure now, while a change takes minutes, not after a developer has built it.

Low-fidelity prototypes

We link the wireframes into rough clickable flows and put them in front of real users. If people can't find the booking button or give up halfway through a form, we find out here, before any budget goes on polish.

High-Fidelity Design

Once the structure holds up, we apply your brand: type scale, colour system, imagery, spacing, states and micro-interactions. Every screen is built from shared Figma components, so developers get consistent specs rather than one-off layouts.

Interactive Prototype

A clickable version of the finished design that you can share with your board, investors or a pilot group of customers before any code is written. A usability problem found here costs a design change, not a sprint of rework.

Usability testing and refinement

We run sessions with real users, measure task completion and where people drop off, then fix what we find. You get a written list of issues ranked by impact, so the next round of improvements is already planned.
